LONDON – A report published as part of the British Fashion Council’s Circular Fashion Ecosystem Project has laid bare the challenges facing the industry regarding the environmental and economic impacts of customers persistently returning apparel. The 106-page document urges the sector to reassess its relationship with returns, given that the environmental impact of products being repeatedly shipped and packaged has “not been fully understood until now”.
